ACLU sues the ACLU for invasion of privacy

So many metaphors, so little time….

Here’s a good one from the NY Times about how the ACLU is collecting a lot of private data on it’s donors. As the article points out, this is something the ACLU has sued others for doing. This just goes to show you that the ACLU is not a public interest group as they make themselves out to be, but more of a self interest group. IMHO, they don’t want a world where there are no civil liberties issues because they would then become irrelevant.
