bbPress

Matt’s announced the new bbPress forum software. It’s been created with the WordPress philosophy in mind. While I don’t really have a use for forum software here, I am thinking about converting a couple of other sites I run to WordPress. One of them really needs forum software, so this would be helpful.

Marc is a Catholic technology geek living in Tennessee. He blogs at Wild Tangents and is the host of the Catholic Vocations Podcast.

    I think it’s a smart idea to convert your two sites to WP so both can take advantage of the functionalities of blogging system. I think it would also be wise to wait a little while for WP 1.3 to come out and adapt the new theme and static page management. I wonder if it’s possible to import posts from PostNuke to WP.

    Well, I can dump the posts from PostNuke to a raw XML file, which can be imported. I do think too that I’ll wait for 1.3(5) too.
