Jose Rizal day

Today is Jose Rizal (pictured at right) day in the Philippines. He’s pretty much a national hero there and if you read about him, you can see why. So, if you see any Filipinos today, wish them a happy Rizal day!

I almost forgot about it until I read your blog. Though Filipinos no longer celebrate Rizal Day the way they used to do many years ago, Jose Rizal is no doubt an inspiration for every Filipinos. Rizal Day is still a National Holiday in the Philippines.
I’m sure that goes back to the same problem as your kids no longer kissing your hand and peeing on you, right?
