Michelle Malkin on Filipino terrorism
By Marc • Apr 12th, 2005 • Category: the RanterMichelle Malkin has made her thoughts known on the “profiling” of Filipinos. I like her use of the term “threat profiling” as opposed to the term “racial profiling”. She feels basically that since the Philippines is slowly becoming the new Afghanistan, with terror training camps and the “what me worry” attitude of the government over there that we should be watching out for Filipinos coming into the US who may be terrorist.
As the husband of a Filipina whose immigrant status is still being determined, I felt I must say something on this issue. I completely agree with her. I want my wife and I to live happily ever after. In the long run, we are more likely to live that “happily ever after” life safe from terrorist threats, even if it means more paperwork and more trips to the immigration office in Memphis now….
