Who’s the new Doctor Who?????
By Marc • Jul 25th, 2005 • Category: Pop Culture, the GeekWell, I gotta say the first season of the new Doctor Who series has come and gone and it was an absolute blast. It started off a little slow with the typical character development, but once they gave you an idea of what the Doctor and Rose were all about they really picked up speed. The whole “bad wolf” concept that played under the surface all season was really well done. The Doctor and Rose are both wonderful characters who are played by wonderful actors. They have a good deal of chemistry that works well and makes their relationship believable. It’s really too bad that Christopher Eccelston (who played the Doctor) is leaving. He says he’s leaving because he doesn’t want to get “type cast” as the Doctor. Well, I’ve got news for him. It’s probably too late. Now David Tennant is taking over. I don’t really know much about him. He’s most known I guess for doing some British show called “Casanova”. I’m not really sure what to think of that, so I won’t. I have to say though his brief apperance at the end of the last episode this season was really promising. I loved the teeth comment. So we’ll just have to see how it works out with Mr. Tennant.
