Will the real Wonder Woman please stand up?
By Marc • Oct 3rd, 2005 • Category: Pop CultureEliza Dushku (Tru Calling, Buffy, Bring it On and True Lies) is making a move to try to land the role of Wonder Woman in Joss Wedon’s take on the classic comic book character.
Meanwhile, among the browncoats and other fans of the show Firefly rumor has it that Morena Baccarin (Inara from Firefly) is in the running.
I think both these women would bring a lot to a movie version off Wonder Woman. Miss Dushku has the physical skills to play a good Wonder Woman. She can fight and hold her own against the worst of them. Miss Baccarin could bring an exotic elegance to the character. She also get bonus points for being from Brazil, home of the Amazon river. 
I wouldn’t fault Joss for casting either one of them. All I gotta say is he better find room for a cameo for Lynda Carter!
