Power Line: Zawahiri’s Advice
By Marc • Oct 14th, 2005 • Category: In Other News...., the RanterPower Line has a really analysis of the letter from al Zawahiri to Zarqawi in Iraq. It really does show the need for staying the course in Iraq, no matter what. Something I found interesting was the comparison of the two men. “Zawahiri was once a doctor, and is a relatively cultured and learned man.” Zarqawi on the other hand it described as a “street thug”.
While I am not entirely sure I think we should have gone into Iraq in the first place, I can not deny that now we are there, we have to finish the job. Leaving before the job is finished will be a win for the bad guys. In dealing with Vietnam, we talked about the domino effect. Well, this is not Vietnam. The domino effect will happen here. You think Syria and Jordan are bad enough now? There is no limit to haw bad they could get.
