The End of Choice for “healthy” Macs?
By Marc • Oct 14th, 2005 • Category: the Geek, the RanterSomeone is not paying any attention at all. They say that not having the choice to decide to have bluetooth and/or wifi on the new iMacs is bad because of the dangers involved. First question is “what dangers”? They give a lot of anecdotal information on their website, but they give no real proof. Meanwhile, there are plenty of website out there that disprove their claims. I’m not going to post any here, because it’s just too easy to go out there and Google it. Plus they never seem to mention the fact that you can turn them off, eliminating the non-existent threat. Plus, they seem to be advocating the eMac as a non-bluetooth alternative. Don’t they know that the eMac uses a CRT? Don’t the believe the “R” in “CRT” stands for “radiation”?
