Greenpeace destroys nature

This is so sad. I know everyone makes mistakes, but you would think a group like this would be careful not to make themselves look even more foolish than than they do by being themselves.
MANILA (Reuters) – Greenpeace said on Tuesday it will pay nearly $7,000 in damages after the environmental group’s flagship, the Rainbow Warrior II, hit a coral reef at a world heritage site in the southern Philippines.
They blamed the carts they were using. I wonder what the qualifications of the crew are. Are they real sailors, or are they just hippies who have nothing better to do now that Jerry Garcia is dead?
The ship suffered no serious damage while briefly running aground, Greenpeace said.
That’s good. It would really suck if it started leaking oil or something. We’d have to rename it the “Rainbow Valdez”.
