Down with Zaraqawi – Finally a negative Muslim response to Al Qaida

By • Nov 15th, 2005 • Category: In Other News...., the Ranter

Here’s the word on the street in Amman. Everyone suddenly hates Zaraqawi. As soon as Jordanians saw their own countrymen blasted out of existence, they suddenly care that this madman is murdering people. Since it’s not just Iraqis and Americans he’s killing anymore, he’s suddenly a villain instead of a hero. Well, I have news for you people. He was villain all along. You just have a screwed up concept of reality.

“AMMAN, Jordan – Less than a week ago before suicide bombers killed 57 people at Amman hotels Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was seen by many Jordanians as a homegrown holy warrior battling U.S. troops in occupied
Iraq.

After the bombings, claimed by al-Zarqawi’s al-Qaida in Iraq, thousands of Jordanians took to the streets throughout the kingdom, shouting: ‘Burn in hell, al-Zarqawi.’”

Well, I have to say I am not wishing for him to burn in hell. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. The Christian in me want to pray for his conversion and hope for his salvation. But that’s just me.
