Cast for the Stargate shows

“Claudia Black (Farscape) joins the regular cast of SCI FI Channel’s original series Stargate SG-1 in its upcoming 10th season, and the principal cast members of both SG-1 and its spinoff series, Stargate Atlantis, have signed on to reprise their roles in the recently announced new seasons, the network said.

I’ve heard talk that the reason Claudia Black has been signed is that there is fear Amanda Tapping will be either leaving or dividing her time equally between SG1 and SGA. I guess we’ll see. It would be a reason to watch the Atlantis series if the split time rumor is true. I haven’t really been able to get into the new much, but if the cutest geekete on TV is going to be on it…..Well I might have to watch some.

I kind of like Claudia Black’s character too. I now she kind of plays a bad girl, but the thing I like about the character is that she’s not really a bad girl so much as just puts that persona up as a defense mechanism. I think she uses that to keep anyone from actually getting too close which is something she’s afraid of, you letting anyone into her heart…..Or whatever….

Plus there was this….

SG-1 wraps up its ninth season with new episodes starting on Jan. 6, 2006, paired with the final new second-season episodes of Atlantis and new episodes of Battlestar Galactica.

Yay! New BSG Jan 6th. I can’t wait!
