Pay no attention to that man in the lobster outfit who’s stuck in a revolving door
By Marc • Nov 26th, 2005 • Category: MiscI just saw the greatest commercial from Vonage. It had a “man on the street” talking about how great it is to be a Vonage customer…I think. You see, in the background you could some sort of mascot type in a lobster outfit who seems to get increasingly frustrated with his job. This goes on during the course of the commercial until he finally gets so fed up the throws the flyers he’s been passing out up in the air tries to go inside trough the closest door. Unfortunately for him, the closest door happens to be a revolving door and he gets his tail stuck as the door revolves. It was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time. You might ask, “what was the “man on the street” saying about Vonage?” I have no idea. I don’t really care since I’m a satisfied customer. All it takes is one of us satisfied customers to be in a group of four or five at a water cooler where everyone is talking about that weird lobster commercial to make the thing effective. Maybe I’ll let you know Monday how it goes.
