Dark Horizons is reporting a rumor from E! Online that Jolene Blalock of “Enterprise” fame will star in an episode of ABC’s hit series “Lost.”

Blalock was originally slated to guest star in the second episode of the season in a Sawyer (Josh Holloway) backstory. Instead the episode was swapped for a Michael (Harold Perrineau Jr.) flashback.

Blalock will appear as a woman from Sawyer’s past.

This is very interesting.

They make it sound like it’s already been filmed, or at least the pre-production is done for it. It’s amazing the crossovers you see on this show with folks having worked together before. I think this is first time we’ve seen any regulars from one of the Star Trek shows. Terry O’Quinn of course guested on TNG. But that was just a guest spot.

IMDB doesn’t have anything past the episode “What Kate Did”. According to TV.com, the next Sawyer episode is called Incognito (a.k.a. The Real Mr. Sawyer). It will air Feb. 15th.

Now, I have a little theory on this. I am probably wrong. I am probably thinking way too much outside the box, but here goes. Look at the pictures of the two stars in question.

First we have Miss Blalock.

You might remember her as T’Pol from Star Trek:Enterprise. Then we have Sawyer. Our anti-hero. Now look again. Don’t they look a lot alike? Don’t they look almost like they could be brother and sister?

Now previous episodes have implied that Sawyer was the only one left in the house when his father killed himself. But what if he wasn’t? On the other hand, what his is father isn’t really his father? Perhaps even the real Sawyer is his father. HM…You wouldn’t see that one coming would you? Perhaps Blalock plays the real Sawyer’s daughter. HM…Oh never mind. Two things to note about this Sawyer episode. Rumor has it that first the real Sawyer will make an appearance and second our Sawyer will be conning the lottery girl that pulled Hurley’s winning numbers. Hopefully that part will be played by the actress that originated it. Who knows? Anyway, it’s something to think about. Right?

UPDATE:Oh, and I almost forgot. If I were a betting man, I would say we’ve already seen the real Mr. Sawyer. His name is Anthony Cooper. So maybe the idea that he’s really Sawyer’s father isn’t so then. I really can’t see Locke and Sawyer being brothers.
