By Marc • Dec 26th, 2005 • Category: Pop Culture, Prayer for the Dead

Now, I’m not going to get all sentimental and say anything like “I grew up with Vincent Schiavelli”, but I can say he has played a big part of the movie entertainment experience in my life.images.jpg I remember well his roles ranging from the recovering coffee addict science teacher in Fast Times at Ridgemont High to the completely incompetent assassin in Tomorrow Never Dies. He will be missed.

ROME -
Vincent Schiavelli, the droopy-eyed character actor who appeared in scores of movies, including “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” and “Ghost,” died Monday at his home in Sicily. He was 57.

Eternal rest grant unto them oh Lord. And may perpetual light shine on them. May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
